Hi guys! I’ve wanted a 3d printer for a long time, and this week I want to buy one. But my problem is that I’m so lost in all the different printers out there, that I need some help. What I need: - Printer around or less then 400 dollars - Build size of 15 x 15 x 15 but preferably a bit larger - safety (a big plus, don’t want to have the risk of a fire) - If documented well, I have no problem setting it up myself - I want out of the box decent printing, I have no problem in printing new parts as an upgrade but I do not want to spend big money and immediately replace motors and such. I have looked at several I3 copies, like the A net a8 (Very good one but that wasn’t really safe I’ve read), the wanhao v2.1, and the CTC Mk8 printer. Can anyone advice me wich one would be ideal for me? I’m thinking about the CTC mk8 one but I’m not sure if its really out of the box printing with that one. Thanks in advance! Dennis
Are you measuring in cm or inches?
One that falls into your basic pricing is the QIDI X-one.
Hi Dylias,
Have you considered buying a used 3D printer? Here are some useful guidelines: Buying a Used 3D Printer: Refurbished Printers for Sale - 3D Insider
Frankly speaking, I’m not the best technology specialist but I can guess that finding a good 3D printer under $400 is not an easy task. However, I would consider buying a used item that it’s in a good condition and has all the necessary documentation. However, buying used stuff is always a risk so you can turn to online FindLender and get additional financial help to buy what you want. Also make a research and check special offers and promocodes in the stores selling 3D printers.
