Thinking about PETG instead of ABS. PETG is odorless and easy to print. However, I am not sure if it can withstand the heat from the hot end. What do you guys think?

I think PETG would have a slight flex compared to ABS.

I was using Polycarbonate the “real stuff” not a mixture extruding at or above 300 c normally around 315c, but then it has all changed now lol
I found this carbon fiber reinforced ABS filament and I love it! It seems to be stiffer and also lighter! But also… I do LOVE makerGeeks.com PETG this is amazing filament as well, Really I think it is all great for printer parts, but I favor Higher melting point filaments.

PETG prints very nice for me and I do like it, but ABS will be a lighter part because ABS has a lower density. The less weight you have on your extruder, the better, especially for faster movements.

Formfutura TitanX offers all the good of ABS and no warping! Just keep the bed at 100c.
