Hello, I’m thinking of buying a 3D Printer because I got inspired by my Physics teacher who showed me his own, but I’m a little bit tight on my budget. After some research I found out 4 3D printers that are great for beginners and at an acceptable price. Which one would you recommend me? Thanks a lot, best regards! (EU plug please)

“affordable” could be anything - do you have a budget in mind?

Hello,

There is not such thing as “the best (budget) 3D printer”. What’s best depends on your wishes, dor example:

  • Do you want to print big things or small detailed things?
  • Is a pre-assembled printer a must?
  • What kind of materials do you want to print (some materials need a heat bed).
  • Do you mind if the printer is a bit noisy?
  • etc…

I think I would recommend you to have a look at the “Monoprice Select Mini V2”. This printer comes with a heat-bed, comes pre-assembled and calibrated (so you can start printing right away). I believe you can buy a “Monoprice Select Mini V2, opened box” for about $100 on monoprice’s website!

For any questions, let me know!
