A few colleagues of mine and I are working on a matrix to help out people at work who would like to use our 3D printers. The matrix would indicate which parameters to use depending on the printer and material you are using. We were wondering if there are “basic models” for 3D printing which are relatively simple but offer different challenges as a result of their design features. We though it might be a good idea to start off with these models to build our matrix. Any suggestions?

Hi, the best models are test models developed to verify different design features with different settings/materials/printers. There are tons of these available on thingiverse.com - bridging tests, overhang tests, wall thicknesses, retraction, torture tests etc. This is a good one:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1363023

thanks a lot
