I’m using a Flashforge Creator (the wood-frame version), and I’m having trouble leveling the base plate. I’m using the base leveling script that comes with the printer and I have tightened the leveling screws under the plate as much as I can, but the plate is still touching the extruder nozzle, to the point it damages the polyamide film. I’ve tried turning the “elevator screw” (the big one which provides vertical movement to the plate) to adjust the height, but I can’t move it when the leveling script is active, and moving the plate this way with the printer turned off or just inactive hasn’t yielded any result.
Any ideas on how to lower the base plate further? Keep in mind this printer I’m using is University property, so I’m afraid opening and messing around with it might not be ideal, but I’d consider it in case it’s necessary.
