Awesome to say the least! Feel free to also share the printing settings you used, for other Hephestos owners willing to give Bamboofill a try
what is the temperature for this filament ?
I run mine at 190*C at 30-50 MM/S on my Ultimaker 2… it likes lower temps and higher feeds due to the fact that bamboo’s flash point (where it auto-ignites) is about 400*F or 204*C. While your not going to necessarily have flames shooting out the nozzle you can very easily burn the bamboo into your nozzle and that is a MASSIVE mess to deal with especially if your nozzle isn’t removable!
Other keys for printing in bamboo I found were a LIGHT coating of oil on the filament really helps it pass through the hot end easily as well as keeping the filament moving. If it stays in the nozzle to long it burns and no one wants that!

I use a layerheight of 1.5, temp of 202 and speed of 40mm/s on my ultimaker original+. I used a 0.8mm nozzle aswell. works great!
It does look great! Thanks for sharing

My Slic3r parameters (Hephestos)
Those are the PLA parameters…I’ve changed the temp to 200ºC for first layers and 195ºC for the rest of layers.
