To be completely honest I’m not sure why I would ever use this. If I need to hollow a model I would either just shell my Fusion or Inventor model, or just slice with 0% infill. Is there any advantage that your method offers over what I already do?

Not everyone knows how to use design tools as fusion thus this makes it way easier since it’s automated. Plus at the end the hollowed model will also be fixed.

I agree if you are using FDM printers, however for more advanced powder printing, this feature is actually more tactical. Also, the difference between infill and MP hollow feature is that the STL file will be hollowed out, with infill only the print will be hollowed.
