Hello, I want to design my own skateboards. If I use a 3D printer to make the skateboard decks, will they break if I (an adult) stand on it? Is PLA strong enough?
As you know, the Raise3D’s N2+ has twice the height as the N2. However, the longest axis is the z-axis. The 3D printed decks may break. Are there advantages in buying the N2+ rather than the N2 for making long things like the skateboard decks?
Yes they will eventually break if you jump on them. ABS has better strength but can be tricky to print.
They will break, PLA won’t be strong enough to stand on.
3D printing is not a good manufacturing technique for skateboards.
