Hi guys,
I just got my first 3D printer. It is a anycubic kossel pulley and I finished assembling it today. There is a quite good colored manual with the printer (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B8VIB533cgdMQVRCOU4tbGtvYzQ) and I am now on page 18 where it says I should enter the command “G28” into the software “Printrun” to access the auto-home. If I do so my extruder moves upwards until all three carriers hit the stop switch at the top but they keep going and pushing on the switches? Is this correct? the motors kept making “not so good” noises and I shutdown the printer.
Before, I flashed the latest Marlin? Firmware as the manual said (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B8VIB533cgdMa1czMW5hNWlXYW8). After that the things shown on the LCD display of the printer changed. Before there was X 0 Y 0 Z 0.00, now there are only flashing “?” after X, Y and Z.
Right now I have two suggestions:
1. I flashed the wrong firmware and my board things it is a anycubic linear plus which is a bit bigger. therefore the motors want to drive to a higher position wich is not possible
2. I for some reason attached the stop switches wrong on the trigorilla board and they are not working so the board does not recognize it has reached the top of the Al-Extrusions.
Any suggestions?
I’m guessing the stop switches are plugged into the wrong spot. I would check there first. Also make sure the stop switches are not only in the correct spot but also the correct order. X for x, y for y, z for z. Hope this helps.
