Hi, I own the anycubic i3 Mega since 3 weeks now. So far nearly all of the print went pretty good. But now i have a problem. I finished 3 prints and at sone point inbetween it seems thats the printer stops for 1 or 2 layers. When the print is finished i can see a big crusted line on the Object. As soon as i touch the object at the top it breaks at the crusted layer. Like really clean and flat. Maybe you guys can help me!?

Hello!

Does it always happen after the same amount of time? If it does, it is most likely the extruder motor stepper driver that is overheating. If you haven’t already, try point a fan at the electronics or lower the current to the extruder motor and see if that helps.

Hi Oscar,

it happens on an unregular basis. So different sized pieces and different time & height.

I will try to cool it down with an extra fan. Thanks so far!
