I get sent models a lot of times, and people want to know what it would cost them. Is there any way for me to throw up the stl somewhere and apply my pricing so I can give them a quote? Or do they have to place an order?
I just run the models through our Hub page as if getting a quote (Get a Quote from this Hub, or something like that) and then confirm the price via Send Message. I dont know if this is the right way to do it or not, but it works!
This is what I do, and it also gives me the opportunity to see how my pricing is comparing to other hubs in the area. I’m generally priced lower but can then take the opportunity to consider any adjustments that may need to be made due to volume or support needed.
