I am very new to 3D printing and I’m on an incredibly steep learning curve.
The problem: Using MakerBot Replicator 2X. Been doing fine until I changed spools. First school boy error is i didn’t know there was different spools. I swapped from ABS to PLA (didn’t change settings) caused loads of issues including clogging the heads.
sooo…have taken the heads apart and cleared the obstruction. I’m trying to put it all back together and I cant get the screws that came out to go all the way through the fan, heat ‘equaliser?’, extruder head, and then to screw into the big metal block at the back. Can do one side but not the other.
Any quick fixes to get extruder heads assembly block back together?
As you can probably tell I am a novice, but I am responsible for getting this machine running for the faculty.
