We are looking for a flexible filament that will work seamlessly with a LeapFrog Creatr XL.

We are making a durable, yet aesthetically pleasing product that needs to keep true to its shape, yet be flexible enough to bend for proper fitting. What is your advice to provide the best structural integrity? If you can provide us with the best possible flexible & dissolvable filament brand that works well with the LeapFrog Creatr XL, that we be greatly appreciated.

Based on the CAD stl file demographics, we want to make sure this Model of 3D printing is the best available out there.

Hi @FileNimbus, honestly I do not know what prints on the LeapFrog XL. But have you tried “NinjaFlex” or “FilaFlex” already? @ProdPoint any idea? Cheers!

The two main flexible filaments are NinjaFlex and FilaFlex, I’m not sure how much structural integrity you need but they are very flexible. Feel free to post a picture of the file so we can get a better understanding of what you’re trying to achieve.

The leapfrog printer has I believe a spring loaded direct extruder so all you might have to do is tighten the spring a little.

Hi,

I actually think that ninjaflex ets are stretcchy materials rather than flexible.

UM sell a flexible PLA which is very similar to normal PLA but less brittle.

The nylons are more flexible

Colorfabb XT is more flexible

There are a few ABS that are flexible - if you want to know those let me know.

All the above should be easily printable on a leapfrog - whereas the rubber ones are quite tricky!

I use FPE ( www.plastic2print.nl)on the Creatr but adjusted my extruder for that with a sprinload extruder, i don’t know if this is possible for an XL.
