Hi,

So i just go my Anet A8 and just finished building it and i plugged everything and i really don’t understand why when i move my bed which is moved by the x motor, my right side y motor move too and when i tried to home all axes my bed went foward and didnt stop and my y motor when up at the same time.

I think u have a connections problem

Z and Z’ motors move together when the printer is powered because of current induction.

check the picture:

Double check the motor ports are all correct (Where they plug into the board) And let me know how it goes. :’)

Did you install smoothers on your motors? I had the same issues and found the supplied wiring with the smoothers were reversing the signal.

The motor under your bed is the Y motor. Your Z motors are the ones on the right and left of the bed that have the spiral rods attached to them. Your X motor is the one that moves up and down the left Z axis. Your extruder is the E motor.

Make sure these are plugged into the right spots on your board, then try again.

This looks like a wrong wiring or a wrong software config.

Double check all connections or better disconnect all and do the wiring again. Also try the latest Skynet3D release
