Hello I have recently bought an anet a 8 diy kit . I assembled it and I printed a test file . The other day I went ahead to print. it started printing alright but unfortunately it got unstuck from the heat bed so I unplagued it because I don’t know if there is any other way to stop the print . Then I plagued it in I put some some hair spray because I have heard it helps the print stick in the heat bed . So I loaded the file and it didn’t start extruding . I took apart the extruder I cleaned well the nozzle when I went ahead to assemble it unfortunately the screw above the nozzle broke I managed to do something with some nuts and I fixed (first picture below ).It printed some thinges quite nicely but after some prints it wouldnt extrude again . So I want to order some screws to fix it and a couple of nozzles but I don’t know if it is going to help . Any ideas ? Also I want to order an e3d v6 hot end but if any of you have done this upgrade do you know what else do I need to buy and if I can mount to that hot end an auto bed leveling sensor and if yes what model? Please help me with my problem :)!

First, you will need a new 30mm M6 throat to replace it, or you can buy the whole nozzle assembly. Second, the nozzle should not stuck in the middle of the bed unless the controller board shuts off during print due to bed or hotend heating problems. Make sure the bed and hotend is will connected. If you want to move the nozzle off the hotbed, make sure you heat the nozzle pass the melting point first.

I also had an issue with spontaneously clogged nozzles in the beginning. My fault was that I used way too much retraction length. 1-1.5mm is enough. Please also check this in your settings and it should stop clogging.

Ok thank you for your respone
