Good evening everyone. I just purchased and assembled a A8. I plugged in the auto leveling sensor I purchased with it, and there is no setting for it. I did some research and found I had to update to Marlin, but every time I try to edit the code to make it work and upload I get errors, and have had no luck getting it installed. Does anyone have a Base config file, with the auto leveling set up with the roko sensor? Any help is greatly appreciated, because I would rather not use the mechanical z switch, or throw this thing away.
I don’t need, but want the auto leveling. It takes the guess work out of it. Also its a nice feature to have to make more accurate prints. Secondly, yes I wanted to upgrade to Marlin. It has many safety features and cut offs that the stock firmware doesn’t have. I also am running dual mosfets to power the board and extruder, ya know more anti fire safety. I do my research.
