Hey everyone! I just finished putting together my Anet a8 and I’m having an issue with the homing setup. My Z-axis seems to be overlapping the two black rectangles that the limit switch is screwed to. This prevents the it from pressing the switch all the way down making it stop. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? If not I’m thinking I’ve either installed something wrong or I have a faulty part. Thanks in advance!

Hey, it looks to me you need to screw the endstops to the top of the black plate

and then you can adjust the black plate to the desired spot

Your mounting block for the switch is upside down. :’)

One block goes on the other side of the plate… This lines it up perfectly.

Yep. I did the same thing. Luckily I realized the switch wasn’t extending out far enough and rotated the mounting block.
