I am a complete newbie to 3d printing - I’ve managed to assemble the A8 and have had two successful prints. Now I have a problem with the extruder motor clicking and not feeding.
I removed the extruder from the motor and the motor spindle turns until it reaches a certain spot then stalls. I’ve searched the internet for a solution and it appears that the stepper motor drivers voltage/current could be the problem. As the supplied motherboard does not allow for any adjustment would it be prudent to upgrade the motherboard to an Arduino Mega with Ramps setup?
I know this is a cheap printer but it would be nice to get it to work - Someone please help!
