My Anet A8 prints are turning out pretty bad, I just finished assembling it and it has a bunch of bumps which seem to build off each other and make the print even worse, this is how a completely flat roundish triangle turned out - I was wondering what I was doing wrong? I couldn’t find much on the internet and the stuff I found was like “increase the temperature” “decrease the temperature”. The extruder seems to collide with the 3d print constantly but I leveled the heat bed according to the video. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For your calibration prints, you should be printing bed calibration parts, 20mm cubes and such. Do a search on Thingiverse for calibration prints.

What slicer are you using? If Cura, check to see if it is set to 2.75mm filament. That’s the default in a later release, and you need to set it to 1.75mm.
