I bought a MagicD A8 printer last week and I have been having issues with it.
1) The machine seems to reset itself in the middle of printing. This has happened 4 times and there is no rhyme or reason for it.
2) In the middle of a print the print head goes out of alignment and starts to print outside the programmed ‘line’.
3) There is a lot of extra stinging in the prints.
I have “Enable Retraction” enables ion Cura, so I thought this would take care of the stringing problem. I have also checked and rechecked many times the table level and it seems fine. I checked all the wiring and connections and I even pulled out all the plugs and wires and rewired the machine.
I contacted the company, but I doubt they can help. I will probably just return the printer to Amazon and get a different one. The problem is that this machine got 4.5/5 stars from 43 reviewers, so I figured it was a decent machine.
Any suggestions on a printer in the $300-$400 (cdn) range in case I do end up returning this one?
