Wow, there were 7760 visitors of the #3dprintfacade website during the competition!
Which led to 49 entries from 12 different countries. We were pleasantly surprised by all the variety of unique designs we received.
The winner of the jury price is:
CANALWALL by Henry den Ouden.
The winner of the public price is:
Besides the winning tile which was chosen by the jury there was an online voting competition.
The winner of the voting competition is:
- “Corallo” by Helder Santos from Italy (205 votes) @Nancy
- “Plus Minus” by Vicente Gasco out of Puerto Rico (157 votes) @Melissa_2
- “Ornamentation Deterioration” by Jasper Manders from the Netherlands (57 votes)
Next step
Heijmans and DUS Architects will design, develop & engineer the winning tile the next period and will 3D print the 1×1 meter tile in January 2016!
