I bought a Robo 3d R1+ a month or two ago, I’ve been having problems with it since day one and I just don’t know how to fix it and even if I did I don’t have too much free time to be tinkering to fix it. I originally bought it for $350ish and had my hot end “break”, I bought a replacement for $60 and now it has new problems and I’ve spent most of my free time trying to fix it and I give up. I have the option to send it to a company to fix it but it would cost at least $150 but most likely $200. So now if I fix it that way it would be around $610 I’ve have spent on this $350 printer. And I just don’t know what to do. If I should repair it and spend the $600 or just bite the bullet and buy the CR-10. I wish I could sell my Robo to someone and use the money to get a new one but I highly doubt anyone would want to buy it in this shape. So please help me with any advice on what I should do.
I’m new here so I don’t know if I’m in the right place for this.

Not to worry - you’re in the right place!
Could you explain the issues you’re currently having with it? Sounds like there’s a lot - it can definitely be frustrating to get into 3D Printing but let’s see if we can’t sort out the issues and get you back onto printing awesome things
My printer doesn’t extrude properly, and it seems to never print
any advice on how to fix?
Can you show pictures of it not extruding properly?
Not extruding for the first few seconds is normal; the plastic leaks out as it’s heated, so the extruder needs to “catch up” in a sense - this is what a skirt is for, it helps prime the nozzle before the actual print begins.
Depending on the buzzing sound, this could be a misaligned fan which happens quite frequently with cheap ones. Sometimes simply lightly stopping it and allowing it to spin up again can help.
