I have a project that requires the nGen parts to be glued together after printing. I have tried some PVC plastic epoxy but found it to be too weak when put under stress. I would like to find something that creates a cohesive bond rather than an adhesive surface bond like CA glues provide.

The surface to surface contact area is less than 4mm in width and about 30mm in length. The overall model has 4 section that need to be glued together giving a total height of 1000mm

Does anyone have experience with gluing this material?

What is the best adhesive to use?

We use MEK (Dichloromethane methylene chloride) which is a solvent of this plastic.

You will find that some common plumbing solvents use this or similar solvents. The solvent weld pipe solvents tend to be mixed with other chemicals to make them easier to apply (thicker).

Solvents are dangerous if used without care. Read and understand the warnings printed on labels BEFORE opening the container.
