There is no better chance to get a whole bunch of new furniture than moving into a new apartment
But when you walk through dozens of furniture shops and you don´t find a new lamp that you like…you have to print one!
After a quick search I found Lump by Cusco Studio. Der lamp body is easy to print on any 3D printer.
Since I needed a lamp for my dining table it turned out I wanted not one but four Lumps (you need to see whats on your dish haha ).
The base is a branch hanging down the ceiling with four 3D printed lamps. I used some braided cable in blue/white which look really nice! The bulbs are LED-bulbs they look nice and save power.
This is the set of materials and tools:
WARNING: Working with electric installation is dangerous! It should be performed by a professional!
The branch is mounted with a steel cable and two hooks. The steel cable is wrapped around the branch and fixed with clamps.
The round terminal block should be big enough to contain all the wired and terminals.
After I drilled the holes for the hooks I aligned the branch. The first wire got connected to the terminal and the bulb socket to test it.
And this is the result:

Let me know what you think about it
Very ingenious @! Ever since we saw the lump, everybody in the office had all sorts of ideas on how to pair them. But I must admit I never thought of this one
Look @toymaker2 the lumps!
