I think it would be nice to create a section inside 3DHUBS for all the HUBS that are interested to test new filaments. All the candidated Hubs would be evaluated by the filament company that would send by 3DHUBS the test printing job for those who fulfill all the company’s requirements. I think this collaboration could bring advantages for both parts. The company has a lot of information has feedback and the testers have the pleasure and honour of testing for first the new filaments, Tell me what you guys think!

Great idea, I would like to help if it will be started.
Cheers
I think it’s a very good idea. Lots of printer types to see how it performs on different machines.
What types of filaments would we get to test?
@Nancy We do definitely love to engage the hubs and connect them to the manufacturers! I think Talk is a great place to start these conversations. You can be sure to wait for something of this nature in the future , but for now let’s hope that someones see’s this call-out and can make a test run of this

It’s allways exciting to see new filaments hit the market. So a new filament section inside 3D HUBS would certainly be nice!

This is actually an important step in any brand partnership with 3DHubs. Imagine if NIKE partnered with 3DHubs and selected Hubs had access to NIKE 3DP shoe files. The one hurdle there would be quality control, right? The “approved” hubs would have to have the “approved” materials and have passed an eval by NIKE.
