I created a tutorial video showing you how to model a vase in SketchUp, and using special settings in a slicing software called Cura to print it with no infill, single wall, and no top.
Before I got into 3D printing, I had always thought you had to create the model exactly as it appears when printed, but there are a number of parameters you can use in your slicing software to change how your model prints.
