I would like to share with you guys my last project. It is a minimal design LED Lamp 20x20x2.5 Cm. I used Extrudr Black ABS and ColorFabb Transparent XT filaments, a 60 Cm LED Strip and an On/Off Switch. It was printed in an Ultimaker2 at 150 Microns. Every piece was designed so it doesn’t need supports or glue. This way, the lamp is easy to assemble and doesn’t require any finishing.
The Black ABS Frame took almost 8 ours at 35 mm/s with a 20% Infill. For the trasparent piece i used “spiralize” in cura so it prints just a thin shell, printed at 35 mm/s it took 1 our an 45 min. The closing piece for the battery case took 25 min at 30 mm/s (because of the snap-fit details i used a slower speed).
Summary
- Printer: Ultimaker 2
- Filament: Extrudr Black ABS and @ColorFabb Transparent XT filaments
- Printing time: approx 10.5 hours
- 150 microns

Crazy good stuff, guys! How long does it take to print?
Nice design! What is powering the lamp?
a 12V battery for the moment!

Wow, Awesome,
Can you please cgive more details of the leds.
Where did you bought the strip.
Does it use batteries ?
Thanks
Excellent! I want one! Its so simple but I’m sure it wasn’t simple to design. Now to connect a solar panel to charge the battery and you have a light you can use anywhere! Great work.
