While knowing that you can print everything in the world seemingly opens up so many possibilities , there are times when you just can’t think of anything to print.
This is not one of those times!
We have so many 3D files lined up for printing that and today was the time for our Leapfrog to get to work and print this great lump model from Cults
And this is exactly what we did (The Marvin is jealous that I am not taking picture of him - you can see that in his eyes):
0.2mm layer height
20% infill
material PLA
no heated bed
nozzle temperature 210
-50% cooling
Support: The model is hollow , but the support is not necessary anywhere here.
Any other cool office “pimping” projects you could suggest? There must be something huge (knowing the huge build platform) that we could print.
Cheers,
Arnoldas

Nice lump
It’s going on the printer this afternoon. Black print, white cord. I’ll keep you posted!

Interesting I’m curious to know did you model it yourself, if so what software did you use?
If not, where did you get the model, was it Thingiverse?
It will be interesting to see some more diverse examples of this one.

David

I printed one of this and it´s gonna be my next toilet lamp
Above the dinner table we will have a tree branch with 4 of them hanging down! I will open a thread when it is installed

Nice, Zippi! Love the idea of putting several of these together for a larger room. Looking forward to seeing the final result

That is super cool @Remy_S ! Did you have to modify the design at all?

The bulb uses the same E27 socket as the smaller bulb. I had to sand down the inside of the print a bit because the fit was a bit too tight. Which was more a problem with the filament, the model is great!
