i have some turbine blades that i had 3d printed. I want to Trim or sand some of the rough edges that have leftover material on it. I just want to know is sanding or trimming the best method for this?
I think it depends a bit on the material you have made the blades of. If they are printed in PLA trimming might be the better way as sanding could deform thin blades if you go to excessive (due heat). If printed in ABS sanding is much easier and should not deform the blades. To get really clean finish on the edges you also can apply a tiny bit of acetone for ABS or methylene chloride for PLA with a small brush to smooth out the last scratches.
What you want is called a deburring tool. You can get a decent one with multiple attachments on amazon for $10-20.

thank you i will buy this tool.
You wont regret it. Just BE CAREFUL because they are very sharp. I cut myself pretty bad the first time I used one.
