Yes, I have designed and printed some NFC Tags by 3D printing technology, less word more images ;-D

This thing makes my prints much more interactive than the others.

And this is pretty cool, by a simple touch, you can have my contacts, directly call me or email me within 1 second, visit my web site, connect to a wifi (request APP supports) and so many other things.

I have made two gears, like these:

Now you count how many teeth are there? It’s not easy, right?

But with the embeded NFC Tag, you can find out the results within 1 second.

Hope you like it, welcome to message me.

Where did you get the NFC insert and how much did it cost? It would be very helpful, if you could also link the devices (probably an arduino shield), that you use to program / read the NFC chip. This seems like a very cool and handy project and I’d like to try it out on my own. Cheers, Marius

Hi Marius, You can google it then you will get a list of suppliers, the tags are very cheap, the price should be less than 1 dollar. I live in China, so buy something like this is easy. You can, and I suggest you to, use your phone to read/write the tags using NFC Tools Pro, this will be much easier. I’ll be glad to see your projects  Ciaooo! Cui

Hi Gabriela, The projects you linked are pretty good, I didn’t know that there are already some NFC stuff in the HUBs. BITCOIN is a good idea, I should try it later  NFC is a trend, likes 3D printing, both of them can be used in IoT field, hope we can catch the future. Ciaooo… Cui

Hi AtomJaay, I only have final photo, the NFC tags are inside the prints and I never use the pause function. My printer is Deltabot kind. The web site is good, I’ll try the cool projects later. Hope to see your new NFC prints. Ciaooo… Cui

Hi Nikki,

Thanks, I’m glad that you like it.

This is really impressive Cui, I love the design of the bracelet! Excited to see what other applications you come up with.
