Hi hubs! I want to organise a meetup of like minded people interested in 3d printing and running a 3d printing company, if you are interested please post here.

looking to do it in the first week of december, depending on numbers we can meet up at my local makerspace or at a pub/restaurant, first round of drinks on me!

There’s CCHS in Hawthorn, just near Swinburne uni. While it’s and excellent Hackerspace you might have difficulty fitting in that many people…But send them an email, I’m sure they’d be happy to host a meetup like this!

there is also a great maker space in Footscray and Im setting up a space in Sunshine, would be great to do it in different makerspaces each month, will give us a good excuse to visit all these awesome places!

I’m busy setting up my dec 3rd open day in Sunshine at the moment so havent locked down a space yet, everyone is welcome to come down and visit me! Next couple of days I will finalise the numbers and location

the dates I have in mind for our first meetup will be Thur 10th dec, Sund 13th or Mon 14th Dec then we all get busy for Christmas

Wow! That place in Footscray looks pretty big from the photos! The idea of a monthly roster is quite ambitious, but sounds pretty cool. Hopefully it will happen.

It’d be great to see another Makerspace pop up somewhere in Melbourne, especially in some of the more outer regions :D. Good luck getting it set up.

Hi guys! I have been so busy last few weeks, 3d printing day was great and now time to get ready for Christmas!
a lot of the hubs out there are winding down for the christmas break and having their own christmas parties so I am going to postpone our meet up to the 10th of Jan, have spoken to the guys at Footscray Maker Lab to allow us to host our first meeting there!
