Recently we are at the begining of manufacturing changes. Production (especialy custom and lo-volume) move from huge factories to local workshops equped with digital fabrication tools. Thanks to it whole production process become more flexible and better located, also it responses for changes much qucker.
Visionary companies such Autodesk noticed the change and the possibilities long ago, what we see today in their latest products.
Autodesk Fusion 360 has built in integration with rapid manufacturing services. It allows one click order of design and fits in Internet of things approach. One day designed, next day examined as physical model.
I think it would be awsom to have Fusion 360 integration with power of local 3D printing offered by 3D Hubs, especialy since HD hubing is available.
