After just over a year from getting my UM2 and joining 3D Hubs I have to say it’s been a brilliant journey. From an expert 3D modeller but amateur printer, I have learnt everything I need to learn through a whole array of orders from scientific experiment equipment to prototypes to toys to very intricate artistic prints, every order is different and that’s why I love 3D printing.
3D Hubs makes the process effortless and enjoyable with the best support I could wish for. I’ve even met with one of the guys for a beer and a chat to discuss what’s going on at 3D Hubs which is so refreshing in this digital age. Without 3D Hubs I wouldn’t be where I am today having paid off my printer already within a year so I just wanted to say a big thank you to the guys at 3D Hubs for making 3D printing accessible for makers and helping customers bring their ideas to life through us makers.
My 50th order is a gold PLA gameboy case for the Raspberry Pi (£20 PC!) that has been aptly named the ‘PiBoy’. Gold for my 50th order anniversary too, also very apt!

Thanks for sharing. I agree about the amazing diversity of prints I’ve had to print through 3dhubs. Just when you think you know how to print anything, another 3dhubs order comes along!
