Hey MrMolinero,

It’s awful that your previous 3D modeller had no respect for you or your work. I guess there are just some people out there who rather make money than offer an excellent service.

I’d be happy to help you out with this, but first would have to assess the complexity of the design. If it’s already been started then it may just be a simple repair type job, but if the other guy didn’t care about it then it could be difficult to work with as some inexperienced designers create models with unusual geometry which can make it unprintable which seems to have happened with you. This may mean that the model has to be created from scratch by using the original design as reference in order to get the correct scale/ sizes.

Do you mind adding the file to a comment so I could take a look? This way I could let you know if I can help you.

If the hub did not do a good job, contact 3dhubs immediately for resolution.

Some of the walls are not fully closed forming a closed object-> usually means that the model was not created correctly. This is called “inverted normals” and happens when a model is left in a way that the software cannot tell what part of the model is inside or outside. This is a common modeling issue, that a good modeler can find and repair.

You can repair it yourself, MAYBE, using makeprintable.com.

But you should ask for a refund, and work with another hub. Most hubs do a great job and are very communicative and caring.
