A software engineer by trade, I built my 3D printer to be able to help me build up my model airplane & miniquad experiments. I built it from a kit, and then upgraded it several times, each time getting a jump in either quality, or print speed without losing quality. It’s currently running off a Replicape electronics board (thing-printer.com), using an E3D hotend and a 550W ATX power supply.
