Having major problems with zortrax extruder. New nozzle but still starves filament and z-petg not flowing to create good raft. Any help gratefully received T

That still looks like a clog somewhere; that “stuttering” behavior is pretty typical of a clog somewhere in the hotend (not necessarily in the nozzle itself). Have you tried fully cleaning out the hotend, or a different material?
The hole hot end has been stripped cleaned and nozzle replaced. Abs and ultrat work fine. But client needs petg for spec reasons. I think the petg must have suffered the moisture problem. Absorbing water and changing state. I.e. becoming more brittle and less capable of flowing freely. But hopefully a few more hours of tweeking will solve the problem. I have some virgin petg arriving soon so will hopefully be able to confirm that old petg is not just a myth used by marketing to sell more filament.

I hadn’t known it was old PETG you were using; it is entirely possible it’s too wet. It does absorb moisture (I can say that from personal experience), and is nearly impossible to print with when wet. Out of curiosity, what are your print settings?
I did write a far more concise account but it didnt upload the images and crashed. Strange thing is it prints perfectly the marvin test at 200% I was using fans at 80% as it was a large print. But if not even the raft builds this is strange. Once i get brand new filament i will update. As a side note does anyone use any rigidink products with their zortrax? I am asking for future reference. I have not to date used anything but zortrax

Please check the PTFE tube condition (inside the hotend) and if it is still on its place.

I have great news!!! The M200 is perfectly fine. The problem was MOISTURE… The struggle is real people. Please please please store your petg in an air tight container with silica gel in. I would also look into advanced storage and preparation methods. Im seriously considering a vacuum oven. A 10 hour print going wrong 10 times will come close to the price of an oven. The difference is, you’ll never have filament problems again. Thank you everybody for your assistance.
