Having leveling issues? The likely culprit is the cheap metal pan y-carriage that comes standard with newer v2.1 and PLUS machines. The standard plate is very flimsy and the moment I noticed my newer machines came with this cheap plate I was pretty disappointed (I had an older v2.1 that actually came with a decent plate before I bought my newer printers).
Made some custom plates and saw big improvements in use ability. Recommended to use with LM8LUU long bearings.

A y carriage plate upgrade is definitely worth it, since the stock i3 Plus plate is weak. I upgraded mine with a RepRap Champion plate and it’s so much better. I also have four SC8UU Igus Drylin bearings in aluminum blocks. Nice and smooth movement ?
