I don’t have a problem with Proto-Pasta’s spools and they do it.

I made a circular printed insert for the protopasta spools since they got caught on the sharp point on the printed spool holder I had on my Simple Metal, with my new MAKEiT printer they roll fine on the spool rollers.

Depends how much filament is on it. If it’s a lot then the cardboard might wear out.
