Hi guys, this my second attempt at 3D Hubs. Last time I had to abort the order since the printer guy told me that they cant print fine resolution. However, this time its not going to be that way. I am interested in printing a chamber for my research using VisiJetM3 clear resin which has been shown to be resistant to the chemicals I use. Do get in touch with me. attaching the STL File. Depending on cost I have other models to print too.

Hi, We’d be happy to give it a go, however we currently have M3 Black loaded in the machine and there is a fairly substantial chaneg over fee. I found that @3DVIX has the same machine (3500 HDMax) and being in the Miami area will probably be faster and more economical. Hope that helps. Regards evok3d

I think it’s possible to print it in Colorfabb XT transparent, but you need to check this ( XT datasheet) http://colorfabb.com/Materials/ for the chemicals resistance. @ColorFabb

Hi Sudheendra, Yes we can print this this. Please let us know the final dimensions of this print. I am guessing 30.5mm x 29mm x 5.5mm.

Thanks for the info. Actually the chemical I am using is DBE and it is known to dissolve pretty much anything, chelates dyes out of inks etc. If you want to check out biocompatibility of some materials you are using with DBE, do get in touch with us.

Yeah, Miami area is ideal. If I remember correctly I had to cancel an order at @3DVIX last time since owner suggested that print might not be fine. The design needed close padding.

Hello, I know this is an old post but I’m new on 3d hubs and thought I would chime in, in case you still needed help. I do not print in resin however I do print in some other materials that might serve your purpose. Taulman 910 (910 Features ) which is very strong and a wide variety of chemical resistance. If that doesn’t work, there is a brand new filament I just started experimenting with INDMATEC PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone). but Taulman3d Alloy 910 - after several rolls.... - Solder Sucker Blog page says that they used THF to glue Taulman910, meaning that it is not good for THF and therefore wont be good for DBE.

I am in the same boat as Mayumi. I want to print some small micrscope slide chambers for iDISCO in the M3 crystal resin, but my order a month ago was cancelled due to not finding any suppliers. Does anyone have this material in their printers now?

Oh, we’re neighbors! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any solutions on this 3D printing though I tried some other services. I’m actually putting my whole mount tissues on the glass bottom cell culture dishes with small amount of DBE at the bottom and scanning it using the Zeiss confocal microscopes. That works!

Polypropylene (PP) must be resistant to DBE though it’s not recommended in the protocol.
