Do you have a file you need converted? drawings? specs? What level of help would you like?

ok this is a bit off topic, but what type of stuff do you do a mech engineer, im going to be doing that in college and i was curious what you think of it and all.

I absolutely love it. I love creating things, solving problems, and seeing the things I designed come to life. If you want not to be “lost” when you graduate, get a job as a mechanic, or machinist, or something of the like while you’re in school… if you don’t get some solid hands-on experience, the people who hire you might be very disappointed. This is from what I’ve seen, I worked as a mechanic for 5 years prior. Sorry if sounding negative, but it’s a good lesson to pass on.

The purple thing? It looks 3D. So you are needing a 2D representation of this thing? If that’s correct and the O’all diameter is the size of a quarter, the hairlike features around the perimeter will be way too fine for 3D printing. Can you help explain this purple ball thing?

Also just FYI the reason people are leaving their emails is because it’s just much easier to communicate. I did not know you posted this reply 3 days ago.

no that makes sense i will for sure try to get more hands on, when you design stuff is it just making the models or do you have to do a lot of math and say like caculatue the optimal moment of inertia or whatnot, or is it more ok I have to make something to say lift boxes let me just build a few ideas. i guise the best way to put this is how much math is behind your designs?
