Hey, I have pretty bad warping on by davinci jr. I understand that having a heated bed does help, but I cant upgrade. I use blue painters tape but I still get very bad warping.
I just want to know if there is a way to mitigate the problems of warping.

The obvious solution is a heated printer bed, but as you cannot have that then I’ve found some other solutions which can minimise or completely remove warping. Firstly you can use a raft, which is like a support which the design rests on. The raft may warp, but it helps protect the item you are printing. Another solution is the infill settings. For some reason settings of about 20-25% seem to best cope agains warping. There is less material to shrink, but enough to hold the structure together. Finally this may seem unusual, but if you cut the CAD design into sections then glue them together it reduces the amount of warping. This is due to all objects experience a bit of warping, with larger objects being the worst effected, so smaller objects have far less meaning it is less noticeable.

For me, elmers washable glue and lower your layer height for larger footprint items. The smaller the layer height, the less warping will occur (or how much).
Add a brim to your prints, this has helped to make sure that anything I printed stays on the bed. Secondly, you can increase the temperature inside the printers chamber by using a heating element of some form. 50-60 degrees is usually sufficient to prevent any warping and or cracking while printing.
I have had 100% infill warp on both nylon and abs, infill has some effect on it. However, it is more the stable temperature during printing that prevents this. I have printed 1/2 inch 7 inch diameter discs, 7 x 7 x 7 parts without the need to worry about warping. Heated chambers are second best option instead of a heated bed.
Install open source Firmware, buy petg filament, buy buildtak the correct size for your printer, start to enjoy printing.

If you use painters tape, before you print take a towel and dip in some rubbing alcohol and wipe the blue tape.
