I know white is a temperamental color but it seems to be a constant battle using eSun white PLA+ to get a constant acceptable extrusion.
This isn’t machine specific either.
I find I have to up the extrusion multiplier a fair amount, from 0.92 up to 1 in S3D, to get better results but it is still hit or miss.
It can go along fine for a while but then does some passes that are stringy and obviously much thinner than it should be.
I am currently printing at 215, recommended by eSun tech. I tried 210 but same results. Going to try a higher temp and see.
I am wondering if the filament diameter is just that irregular? I do measure it and eSun is normally at about 1.70 but the white seems to hit more around 1.66. I am starting to think that maybe the diameter is just getting too thin for a good grasp by the extruder gear to give a constant extrusion.
Thanks for any thoughts on this.
By the way, other colors generally do just fine.
