Trouble with downloading Flashprint on Mac

I received a FlashForge Creator Pro for xmas. I tried downloading the Flashprint software from the SD card and from the FlashForge website and neither worked. It downloaded OK, but when I went to open the Flashprint application I get an error that says “Flashprint” quit unexpectedly. I’m running Mac OS X 10.7.5.

Try Cura from Ultimaker maybe that wil work beter on a Mac OS
