I’m all new to the world of 3D printing. Did a 3D model in Autodesk Fusion 360 and sent it to the 3D printer, an Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2.1. Printing PLA.
The result is not so good. The part seems to schrink a bit from one direction, right side on attached pic. The part was loose from the printbed at the side the schrinkage is. The part cooling fan blows at the part at the side the schrinkage is.
It looks like the adhesion to the printbed is not strong enough. To improve the adhesion you could use ordinary PVA based glue (wood glue) diluted with ethanol on the buildplate. Apply a thin layer and the print will stick to the bed much better. /Magnus Creative Tools Sweden
