Hi all,
I’m all new to the world of 3D printing. Did a 3D model in Autodesk Fusion 360 and sent it to the 3D printer, an Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2.1. Printing PLA.
The result is not so good. The part seems to schrink a bit from one direction, right side on attached pic. The part was loose from the printbed at the side the schrinkage is. The part cooling fan blows at the part at the side the schrinkage is.
What could be the cause?

Warping due to bad adhesion. Try adding a brim and printing again, also be sure the bed is as level as you can get it.

It looks like the adhesion to the printbed is not strong enough. To improve the adhesion you could use ordinary PVA based glue (wood glue) diluted with ethanol on the buildplate. Apply a thin layer and the print will stick to the bed much better. /Magnus Creative Tools Sweden

good advice above you can also use a glue stick or pva glue (just put a small dod in the middle of your bed and use something flat to spread a thin layer on the bed)

Try bed leveling and the first layer 60c bed temp and second layer higher fan speeds.
You also can try to use 3DLac to let it stick better.
I always use Polymax PLA which makes it impossible to let it warp 
Printing PLA, on a glass bed, I’ve used Suave max hold hairspray. It works great, cheap, and super easy to clean up. As others said, 60 deg. bed temp, and leveled. I use a brim if the bottom layer doesn’t have a good amount of surface area, or thin has areas that might easily curl.

All good suggestions. Before adding anything to the bed, make sure it is scrupulously clean. I use isopropyl alcohol to clean the glass on the Ultimakers and do not have any problems. If I don’t clean the glass, well, things have been known to move.
It’s also possible that you have a cooler location on the bed. You can try rotating your model to see if it’s one spot on your bed that is not sticking. Or move the model to a different spot on the bed (if you have the room).
All I have to say is Simplify3D and Build Tak. They will revolutionize your printing with PLA.
