Thank you! We have passed many stages to refine stability. We have created a video as well just for people to see it flying. We tried it also in windy circumstances and it did very well for its 800 grams body. The forward flying is also preety cool. We are planning to make some more videos presenting the attitude, stability, durability and ease of fix.
ps: the RC printed plane is not a static model and there is some really clever engineering (this do not assume your design is not clever buddy) in the design of the ribs structure.
The static model were just an example relating to pricing and adoption rate but I think you understood what I meant.
No worries elmuchacho! The spirit is that people while downloading our parts, supporting our idea and our effort (because took a lot of effort believe me) and want us to keep up going! Nothing to do with the money!
Thanks for your feedback elmuchacho! Your message noted! This is more than static modelling and we are planning more to come. This project released before a week so keep in touch!
You can find the stl files and instructions at www.thex01project.com 2 for 29€. It can fly with open pilot and ardupilot controllers so far. We have not try clean flight yet, but I guess if there is a way to set up a coaxial setting it will fly.
