Hi,
My 12yo son is eager to start printing stuff in 3D. However, I’m having a hard time to help him to complete the whole process.
He just created an object on http://clara.io. We’d now like to send it to a 3Dhub in Antwerp (Belgium) to get it printed. However, a lot of questions remain:
* how do we send it over?
* how can we be sure that the object is ok? (I read stuff about ‘watertight’ etc, but I don’t have a clue if our object fulfills that requirement)
* how do we specify the desired size?
* what material should we use?
We’re more than willing to learn and study about this. However, we don’t seem to find a good “Beginner’s guide” that describes the whole process from start (a blank drawing board) to finish (a printed object).
Do you have any recommendations on where to get started? Extra kudos for Dutch explanations, since my son is not yet proficient in English.
Thank you,
created
