Also note that my instructions for running ‘avrdude’ assumes that the user you are logged in with has access rights to the serial device. For newer RPi images that’s generally true. But if you are on an older image or a desktop environment, that may not be true. If it complains about being unable to open the device (and you’ve checked that the /dev/ttyACM1 or whatever you are using is correct by looking at the virtual files in the /dev folder), you can try prepending the call to “avrdude” with “sudo”. Or you can check that your user id is in the “dialout” group or whichever group you have assigned via udev for that device…

As of right now I would say no I was on the same firmware as you I grated too 7.8 and I lost my left extruder as of right now I would say stay on what you’re on

In my opinion, I got my FFCP one year ago and up until now I did not update printer since it is still working flawlessly. If it ain’t broken don’t fix it.

I do have issues after update, when I stop the print head goes to home position but Y goes to wrong way and hit a border, motor clicks few times, no good at all.

Sounds like the Y axis needs to be flipped/inverted in the settings.

it is printing fine, also if I stop it from software is fine to, only if I do it from menu on printer I have this issue.

That would indicate that it thinks that “home” for the Y is in the wrong spot. Just my guess.
