Hi,

I have been printing for over 2 years on my FFCP, no real issues. Would anyone recommend updating my firmware? It’s still as it came…

I’m on Sailfish 7.7 v 01234

Discuss…

Thanks,

Cris.

I would get Flashprint and let it connect and see what it says. Usually an update is a good thing but then why mess with something that is working!

Mine is also still on Sailfish 7.7 v 01234 I never update it, I don’t see a reason why to update. It prints good.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I have 2 FlashForge creator pros and both are running the shipped with firmware without issue. Unless there is an issue, or feature you need that only a flash can resolve I’m inclined to not flash it. Does anyone know of new features or functions that the latest flash provides or possibly what has actually been changed on each flash version because I do not.

You could go look at the Sailfish updates to see what changed from 7.7 to 7.8. Not sure myself.

If you are not having any issues then why “update” it. Is there a new feature you are going after?

That would indicate that it thinks that “home” for the Y is in the wrong spot. Just my guess.
