Should  3D print shops have some type air purifier or ventilation system?

I was on a 3D printer website today and the entire website had banners indicating to use their printers in a ventilated area.This may not be possible if you had a “mall shop” for example.

I guess it varies from printer to printer, but there are emissions associated with 3D printing (especially when the filament needs melting). Here’s more on this here, if you’re interested. What type of printer were interesting in getting?
